Your Skinvive treatment at our Galway clinic begins with a full skin assessment and consultation with Yvonne McNamara to ensure it is the right treatment for your skin at this time. A topical anaesthetic is applied prior to treatment for your comfort. Skinvive is then administered via a series of small micro-injections across the treatment area — most commonly the cheeks and face.
The treatment takes approximately 30 minutes. Some mild redness or small injection marks may be visible immediately after, which typically resolve within 24 to 48 hours. Results develop gradually over two to four weeks as the hyaluronic acid integrates with the skin, with full results visible at four weeks and lasting up to nine months.
Is Skinvive right for me?
Skinvive is suitable for most adults who want to improve skin quality, hydration, and texture. It works beautifully as a standalone treatment and also complements other treatments such as Profhilo, polynucleotides, or skin peels. A consultation with Yvonne is required before treatment to assess your skin and discuss your goals.
