Polynucleotide Injectable Treatments
Polynucleotides, also known as PN or PDRN, are derived from fish DNA, usually salmon or trout and are close to our own DNA in their make up making them a very safe treatment.
Have you noticed fine lines appearing across your cheeks when you smile?
Do you have Pigmentation?
Dehydrated hands?
Papery Eyelids?
Sunken or dark undereyes?
Deep lines around your neck?
Lax skin on your tummy?
If so, this is the treatment for you.
Polynucleotides are a treatment derived from salmon & trout DNA (which is similar to our own) that is able to work on a cellular level to repair tissue and boost your skins quality, just as if we are rewinding the skin ageing process!
With ageing comes less elasticity, with less elasticity comes folds and fine lines. The skin is much thinner due to a loss of collagen and fat. This is when you will start to notice lines and wrinkles.
This is not a filler or a toxin.
Rather than acting as a filler or padding the skin, the DNA molecules in Polynucleotides give the skin its regenerative instructions and then disappear.
As we age, collagen production declines, which is why our skin gets saggy and more wrinkled. Polynucleotides are an ideal way to tackle ageing concerns suggested for prevention and maintaining skin quality & helps to remodel areas with a high fibrous content such as acne scars.
When we inject Polynucleotides into the skin, they reach the cells called fibroblasts. Fibroblasts are responsible for the formation of connective tissue through their ability to produce collagen, which helps maintain the skin’s firm structure.
Are there any side effects?
As with any injection, you can expect your skin to be slightly red and swollen immediately after the polynucleotide procedure. You may experience pin-prick bleeding and some itchiness, but it’s important to avoid touching the treated area for at least 12 hours.
What areas can I have the treatment?
We can treat almost anywhere. The most common areas to have treated are; Eyes, Face, Neck, Décolletage and backs of hands. We can also treat the scalp!
At Renew, we use a variety of Polynucleotides and these are selected individually to suit each patient.
