Medical Peels at Renew
BioRePeel
BioRePeel is an innovative peel treatment, using patented 2-phase technology. This provides a bio-stimulating, revitalising and peel-like effect. The combination of these components results in a mild exfoliation, stimulating the biosynthetic process, restoring the structure of the skin. This process decreases damage from UV light, pigmentation and acne scars and effectively preventing the ageing of skin. The treatment is suitable for all skin types, including those with fine line wrinkles, acne, fresh scarring and blackheads. There is little to no downtime. Some patients may experience dry patches or some irritation up to 4 days post peel.
Glycolic Acid Peel
Glycolic Acid is a natural component of sugar cane that normalises the skin’s exfoliation process, refining the appearance of pore size and smoothing the look of fine lines and wrinkles as it retexturises skin. Glycolic Acid is known to be the hardest working of the Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) family for those looking to really retexture and refine their skin’s surface. This peel is a medium strength peel, perfect for those with less sensitive skin. This peel is great for sun lovers with sun damage and uneven skin tones. This concentration removes pore-clogging debris evenly and stimulates the production of new elastin and collagen. There is little to no downtime. Some patients may experience dry patches or some irritation up to 4 days post peel.
Lactic Acid Peel
Lactic acid is an antiwrinkle and pigmentation-fighting ingredient found in over-the-counter (OTC) and professional-grade skin care products. Derived from milk, lactic acid belongs to a class of anti-aging ingredients called alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs). Other examples of AHAs include glycolic acid and citric acid. Lactic acid is specifically used to treat hyperpigmentation, age spots, and other factors that contribute to a dull and uneven complexion. Other benefits of AHAs like lactic acid include improved skin tone and reduced pore appearance. However, unlike AHAs such as glycolic acid, lactic acid is a bit milder. This makes a lactic acid peel a better choice for sensitive skin. Lactic acid may also be a good option if you’ve tried another AHA in the past and found the product too strong. There is little to no downtime. Some patients may experience dry patches or some mild irritation.
Pink Peel
The Pink Peel consists of Kudzu root extract with ahigh oestrogen content improving skin elasticity and a complex of peptides with tightening properties. Kudzu Root is an organic type of Acetic Acid making it ideal for highly sensitive and Menopausal skin. The loss of oestrogen is partially compensated thanks to the unique formula. It promotes collagen and elastin production and is more powerful than classic fruit acid peels. This treatment provides great results in terms of skin aging and also forms a perfect basis for skin Micro-Needling, which further enhances the anti-ageing effects of the treatment. There is little to no downtime.
